Blå Station was born in 1986 in Åhus, Sweden, from the designer Börge Lindau’s desire to put into production furniture which he himself liked and which, to his mind, deserved a place in the market. Today Blå Station continues to develop innovative, surprising products based on disruptive designs with a new attitude towards shape, function, material and the industrial production process. In its effort to always seek an alternative to what is already available, Blå Station represents a new way of interpreting designer furniture. The brand is also recognised as a standard bearer in the sustainable development and manufacture of its products.
